CONTINUING WITH their wining form, the Toronto Eagles head into round 7 with the opportunity to take second spot on the OAFL ladder.

This weekend the Eagles will face traditional rivals, the Toronto Downtown Dingo's, in arguably the game of the round.

The Eagles, coming off a hard fought victory against league improvers Hamilton, will be looking to keep their good form going and try to take a hold of second spot.

Coach Aaron Falcioni who has been preparing his side all week is well aware of the importance of this game. "The boys have been training hard this week on their skills and fitness and will be looking to fire early this weekend."

The Dingo's have started the season surprisingly well with a 5-1 record, though little could be said about it as their only real test was against the Etobicoke Kangaroos, who destroyed them by 63 points. Also poor league scheduling had the Dingo's playing a lower team twice just six rounds into the season.

Regardless this weekends match is set to be a well contested battle between the Eagles and Dingo's as both want to secure their place in the top two of the OAFL.

Tom Hammond (fractured Humorous) – 4 weeks

STRENGTHS
With their hard running and free flowing play the Eagles are looking good coming into the second half of the season.

POTENTIAL WEAKNESSES

Underestimating their opponent could be a weakness for the Eagles this weekend. The players need to be aware that anything can happen on any given day.

AT THE SELECTION TABLE
With some players missing and others returning this week the Eagles will be reorganizing again this week. Don't be fooled though, the Eagles will still have a formidable lineup on game day.

DANGERMAN
Ajit Alister: Alister has had a few lean weeks out on the field for the Eagles. He'll be looking to rectify the situation this week with some hard work in the ruck. Opposition teams should be aware that at his best Alister is damaging all around the field.

IT'S NOT GENERALLY KNOWN...
The Toronto Eagles and Toronto Downtown Dingo's are the only two teams in the OAFL to have won three premierships in a row.
